ENERGY SERVICES PRESIDENT & COO
In 2003, Superior was searching for a gateway into the previously untapped international
rental tool market. Superior found that gateway in Premier, the first foreign-based
operations group purchased by the company. Premier’s strong management
team as well as its marketing and distribution capabilities have proven to be
just the combination Superior needed to advance the company’s strategic
goal of international expansion.
Premier has fostered excellent working relationships with other Superior Energy
Services Companies in developing new international markets and spotting opportunities
thus maximising the utilisation of our equipment. Premier has led the way for
Superior’s international expansion particularly in the North Sea, Norway,
Continental Europe, CIS, Middle East and West Africa by deploying capital and
utilising existing assets in these new markets.
Premier has enjoyed great success since the acquisition in 2003 as evidenced
by an almost 800% growth of its earnings, and the company is expected to continue
this growth in 2007 and beyond.

ABOUT SUPERIOR ENERGY SERVICES
Superior Energy Services is a leading provider of specialised oilfield equipment

The acquisition of Premier in 2003 commenced international expansion plans by
creating global awareness of the Superior brand and helping pave the way for
potential service opportunities.
Premier joined the company’s rental tool division alongside Stabil Drill
(stabilizers, hole openers, Hydroclean drill pipe), Workstrings (tubulars to
the Americas) and Sub Surface Tools (pressure control equipment).
The purchase of Aberdeen based Duffy & McGovern Accommodation Services in
early 2007, complements Superior’s existing accommodations subsidiary HB
Rentals.
