Premier Oilfield Rentals Announces Opening of Premier-Borkit Facility in Kazakhstan

Premier Oilfield Rentals announces the opening of their joint venture purpose-built service centre facility in Aktau, Kazakhstan.

The newly opened 12,000 sqm site encompasses a machine shop – equipped with significant investment in new, state-of-the-art machinery, office facilities, an inspection area, warehouse and a storage yard. The extensive services on offer include machining of API and proprietary connections, manufacture, repair and fabrication of oilfield and marine equipment, all carried out by fully qualified and experienced personnel in addition to provision of Premier established rental products.

Rob O’Neill, a director of Premier-Borkit Oilfield Services, said he was delighted with the completion of the first class service centre.

He said “This opportunity to offer a diverse range of services through a “one-stop-shop” with the emphasis on quality, reliability and customer satisfaction establishes our commitment to providing services of the highest calibre to the Caspian region.”

“The opening of the facility saw the initial creation of 15 jobs and the successful recruitment of local expertise, all being fully qualified and experienced personnel who shall be working to stringent quality, health, safety and environmental standards. The initial launch has been a tremendous success with extremely encouraging feedback. We are confident that Premier-Borkit will provide customers with a most efficient and competitive service.”
